Sparkling gold colour. Hoppy, strawlike aroma and flavour. The hops taste very green, vegetal (celery would be the closest). Bitterness is mild, especially for style. The finish is grassy and through the whole beer there is a lack of malt presence to hold it together.

Pacific Northwest Vacation 2007

8/20/2007: Methow Valley Pilsner is the color of straw and mostly clear with only a very slight chill haze. It has a thin white veil that leaves some nice lacing. The aroma slightly sweet and contains pale malt and some fruitiness. The flavor is toasty pale malt with some spicy hops and a balancing level of bitterness. This is a pleasing beer overall.

Draught sample at the Twisp River Pub in Twisp, Washington. Rating #2 for this beer...
