| A German Hefeweizen brewed by Methow Valley Brewing Company Twisp, Washington USA

shigadeyo (1387), Southwest Ohio Area, Ohio, USA Sep 9, 2007 Pacific Northwest Vacation 2007
8/20/2007: Methow Valley Summer Ale is hazy, golden in color, and has a thin, off-white head. There is also an generous level of carbonation. The aroma reveals a delicately sweet beer that is fruity (possibly like a Belgian-style ale) and mildly malty. The flavor is fruity as well with some accompanying nondescript spicy notes. This beer is medium-light in body and crisp on the palate. Overall it is quite refreshing.
Draught sample at the Twisp River Pub in Twisp, Washington. Rating #1 for this beer...
