2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 bvc (1004) - Kenmore, USA - AUG 22, 2011
Growler from brewery. Pours a dirty honey gold color with decent looking head. Nose is odd for a vienna. Good amount of biscuit, no hop to speak of, and a bit of yeast esters that are out of place. Little chewy in the mouthfeel. Biscuit also is the predominate flavor going on. Drinks decent enough, just not similar in style to other Vienna’s I have had.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4113) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Draught @ McGlinn’s in Wenatchee:   Golden, clear, very clear, little to no head, no lacing, almost appears still.   Sweet toasted malt nose, a little caramel and breadiness.   Smells decent at least.   Very malty and bready on the tongue, sweet caramel hints on the backside, toasty.   Slight mealiness but I almost expect that from the style.   Moderate body and mouthfeel despite the fact that it appears flat.   Lingering toasted malts and caramel like breadiness.   Better tasting than I anticipated.   Add some carbonation to give it some livelyness and then they would really have something.

(Bottle) Sampled at post-GCBF RB Party 2010 on September 10, 2010. Golden body with thin, dissipated head. Nose is very biscuit, sweet apple pulp. Flavour is cracker and appley. Average.

Bottle, shared at the post-GCBF tasting. Clear orange-amber. I found this to have a very nutty, slightly dusty aroma. Nutty caramel flavour, light leafy note in the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 riversideAK (4568) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2009
Toasty bread and caramel on the nose. A touch earthy and grassy as well. Pours golden orange with some chill haze and some thin creamy foam. Toasted bread and soft sweetness are the dominant flavors. Some caramel notes, a hint of dusty yeast fruitiness. Light earthy bitterness in the finish. Crisp and clean, pleasant to drink with a touch of dryness in the finish too.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Oakes (10202) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 11, 2006
Light copper colour. Bright. Flavour and aroma are very simple - toasty malt and caramel. Functional in that this does technically fit the style but the malts are underdeveloped and there is nothing else at all.
