(Rating #2538)

From a 650 ml. bottle with no lot code or expiration date noted. The pour is a clear rusty amber with active carbonation bubbles building to a choppy white head. The aroma is quite hopped up with something sweet in the background. The mouthfeel has some decent texture to it. The taste is dry hopped with a hint of caramel. Not too bad overall.

Pours with a golden orange body topped by a thin to medium thick head with little lacing. It’s sweet and malty with notes of resinous hops and light grapefruit notes. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

650ml drank on triton college quad at 10pm. purchased at melrose park IL jewel foods. flavor contains a light peach note, cascades in full effect. however, IBUs are nearly at undetectable levels, but a few esters make up for it for myself; i was hardly looking for anything too complex at the moment, nor did i expect it. i was not disappointed. makes a solid APA but a wack IPA.

This light amber ale poured with a decent off-white head and a toffee and pine aroma. There is a rather skunky thin caramel malt flavor with a coarse biitter finish.

One of the worst IPAs that has ever crossed my lips. Thin, watery and full of metallic flavors and cardboard tastes. I guess this could be a gateway beer for someone, but I hope they move onto something better fast.

Dark golden color with a smallish off-white head. Scents of pale malt, grapefruit peel and sweet light caramel. Some early malt and bread qualities. An addition of dark honey, mild citrus and light pine wood. A mid to low road IPA, at least by modern standards.

22 oz. Got it from albersons for 2.33. Pours a clear orange /amber with a medium white head. Aroma is very earthy , mild citrus, carmel malts, don’t get any bursting citrus or floral notes. tTste is watery, malty, has a slight bitter bite Not bad for the price, but still below average.

Bottle from a discount grocery in Sacramento, CA. Pours orange amber with a decent white head. Aroma is sort of honey over hop and light caramel. Less than medium body with ok carbonation. Flavor is a bit watery, and caramel, with not quite enough floral hop. Some papery notes. Finishes astringent. Good considering the price.
