2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bpreo (1171) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JAN 23, 2013Not the finest IPA ever, but you know what? It isn’t the worst either. Very tolerable, and that’s saying a lot from me, a Stout fan who has been inoculated into an IPA society for the last 1.5 years.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Blairgus (1751) - California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
6 may 2013, bottle. Gold with pink twinge. Nose is pine and grapefruit rind hops. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Piney, grapefruit, resin hops. Faintly oily. Kind of mediocre.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Fredis23 (87) - Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2013
Yellow, Good head, Some Lacing. Some initial hoppiness fades away quickly and leaves malty aftertaste. But there is something weird in between and can’t tell what it is. Not enough hops, a little on watery side.. Drinkable but just fair.

Aroma brings light citrus, lemon and herby hops. Crimson/copper appearance with a huge three-finger foam. Pleasant caramel, honey, biscuit overtones. Light fruit and hops on the tail end. Overall, it’s not too bad. Kind of a more malt based IPA. I’d give this a C rating.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 hayduke (2933) - Eureka, California, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Share tasting with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Poured a clear amber with a lot of tiny bubbles and a lot of head. Decent lacing. Nose is stale floral hops. Medium in body with a decent clean mouthfeel. The flavor is bitter to start and overall malt forward. The finish is like the aroma being kind of like stale floral hops. Not an offensive beer, just not exciting either.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Strykzone (3813) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Twelve ounce bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. A nice off white head over a mostly clear copper hued beer. Decent carbonation is visible. A soft aroma has flowers and perhaps a bit of honey. The first sip was bitterness with a nice malt profile. There are hops but they don’t provide a lot of flavor. Mid glass a sour after taste developed and it was not really pleasant. Unfortunately it was long lasting. A different choice of hops would help this beer. This is not a winner.
2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 nealm759 (26) - Georgia, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Pours.a dark amber, small amount of head, just enough to cover the top. Smells almost like a bakery wine ale yet doesn’t have amount of sugars/alcohol to be one. Taste definitely mimics smell. A bit malty and not very hoppy. Overall I probably wouldn’t buy it again but was worth a try.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 luttonm (1629) - Belgrade, SERBIA - JAN 14, 2013
Bottle at SBT. Slight, caramel orange. Juicier orange-citrus hops. soft scotch malts, metal, ’starburst’ candy. maybe it is an out of date bottle, hops taste oxidized, or somesuch. Not great
