Bottled at the brewpub. Hazy pale golden, small head. Lactic and grassy, slender and spritzy. A bit of lemon, lots of grass. Tar tand mild but with growing bitterness. Elegant and tasty.

Bottle at the brewery. Hazy pale pour, frothy white head. Spicy citrusy aroma, wheaty with some coriander notes, light hop aroma. Taste is mild, grainy with a very slight spiciness. Palate is smoothly carbed and medium bodied. Enjoyed it.

Bottle @ brewpub. Hazy blonde, but the head is not stable. Not a forthcoming aroma. It’s mild, bready malts, and not enough humulus. High gravity-feel without being full-flavored. Has bock qualities. Nicely balanced, sweet nutty malts dried more by alcohol than by herb or hop. Does have a slight spiciness, and a yeasty aftertaste I find unpleasant--can’t say why exactly but I was expecting the aftertaste to be hoppy. And there is also the slightest hint of diacetyl, which is really surprising in this house.

Hazy pale tan. Spicy with dry light malt, white pepper and other light accents. Good balance to this one.
