If malt and hops are the two poles of brewing, this beer is the gently spinning sweet spot between them. First, you’ll notice the spicy aromas of Perle and Hallertau hops. Then - wipe the foam off the tip of your nose - dive into the toasty flavors of Vienna and Munich malts. Dynamo starts strong and finishes crisp and smooth. The balanced flavors, aromas, and even the coppery-red tones of this beer go great with everything. Fear no pairing. The best time to enjoy Dynamo is when you’re thirsty. Dynamo Copper Lager goes great with pizza, neighborhood block parties, spring rolls, first dates, football games, whiskey, tapas, the Sunday newspaper, late-night burritos, veggie omelets, business lunches, grilled mushrooms, pretzels, political debate, corn-on-the-cob, classic sci-fi flicks, mixed greens, campfires, salmon, billiards, cherry pie, rock shows, pumpernickel, salsa, grand openings, peanuts, sewing bees, extra sharp cheddar cheese, and holidays. Pours a clear orange with about a finger of off-white foamy head. Some light malts and cereal to the nose, fairly faint odor. Slightly sweet grain taste that fades into a fairly standard bitter aftertaste. Fairly crisp, not a bad beer for a hot day.

Pours a very reddish color. Nose is grainy and metallic. Taste is a bit yeasty, astringent. Finish is nothing to speak of, just convincing me again that I am not a lager lover. Quaff Score 4 / 10

Pours a clear amber with a white head and metallic, malty aroma. Taste is crisp, of toasted malts, caramel, and grains. Not much flavor and nothing special with this one.

Bottle from TJ’s. More of a dark yellow than a copper. Aroma is grainy, corn kernels, with hints of berries. Taste is overwhelmingly MUSTY. Date on the bottle is.... nowhere to be found, so I’ll assume it’s fresh, and if that’s the case I’ll take a pass on this going forward. The mustiness is up front, plus in the finish, kind of how a damp basement would taste if you could bottle it. Body is crisp, and there are other flavors of more light grain and corn, but overall this one isn’t working well for me....

Bottle at Girl and the Goat. Clear golden/amber - white head. Bread. Light roasted notes. Lovely freshness. Light bitterness. Lovely freshness.

Clear copper with a small white head that lasts a while. Slighly bready aroma, with sweet toasted malt and some mellow floral hops. Nice crisp flavor with more citrus on the finish than the aroma had suggested. Pretty refrezhin.

Rich copper color with a little haze. Large off-white head is very frothy and long lasting. Grainy straw aroma has, at moments, some bright sourness underneath. Metallic flavors up front wane into a grainy wheat and sweet corniness that ultimately ends slightly sour and minerally. Not the best, but not terrible.

Pours clear brilliant copper, strong 1 finger head. Aroma is yeasty bread, buttery biscuits, some spicy woody hop notes. Taste is very bready and biscuity with some spice, finishes minerally and toasty. Body is creamy smooth, medium, bodied, lower than average carbonation, biscuity dry finish. Overall, pretty good but pales in comparison to Ironworks and Flywheel which I have enjoyed recently.
