COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If malt and hops are the two poles of brewing, this beer is the gently spinning sweet spot between them. First, you’ll notice the spicy aromas of Perle and Hallertau hops. Then - wipe the foam off the tip of your nose - dive into the toasty flavors of Vienna and Munich malts. Dynamo starts strong and finishes crisp and smooth. The balanced flavors, aromas, and even the coppery-red tones of this beer go great with everything. Fear no pairing. The best time to enjoy Dynamo is when you’re thirsty. Dynamo Copper Lager goes great with pizza, neighborhood block parties, spring rolls, first dates, football games, whiskey, tapas, the Sunday newspaper, late-night burritos, veggie omelets, business lunches, grilled mushrooms, pretzels, political debate, corn-on-the-cob, classic sci-fi flicks, mixed greens, campfires, salmon, billiards, cherry pie, rock shows, pumpernickel, salsa, grand openings, peanuts, sewing bees, extra sharp cheddar cheese, and holidays. Bottle at Girl and the Goat. Clear golden/amber - white head. Bread. Light roasted notes. Lovely freshness. Light bitterness. Lovely freshness.

Clear copper with a small white head that lasts a while. Slighly bready aroma, with sweet toasted malt and some mellow floral hops. Nice crisp flavor with more citrus on the finish than the aroma had suggested. Pretty refrezhin.

Rich copper color with a little haze. Large off-white head is very frothy and long lasting. Grainy straw aroma has, at moments, some bright sourness underneath. Metallic flavors up front wane into a grainy wheat and sweet corniness that ultimately ends slightly sour and minerally. Not the best, but not terrible.

Pours clear brilliant copper, strong 1 finger head. Aroma is yeasty bread, buttery biscuits, some spicy woody hop notes. Taste is very bready and biscuity with some spice, finishes minerally and toasty. Body is creamy smooth, medium, bodied, lower than average carbonation, biscuity dry finish. Overall, pretty good but pales in comparison to Ironworks and Flywheel which I have enjoyed recently.

12oz bottle from Armanetti’s. Pours a crystal clear, golden-copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is soft floral hops and fruit with a touch of herbal spice over a pale, grainy, bready maltiness. A touch of honey and caramel. Flavor is clean and grainy up front with a light caramel and bready sweetness. A nice floral hopping and soft herbal spice with a touch of honey sweetness and some fruits before a hint of toast comes in. Some munich malt towards the end as this finishes dry with a light, clean bitterness and balanced sweetness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light, but fuller feeling, smooth body and a clean, medium-high carbonation. Overall, a very clean and fairly crisp Vienna. Really nice body with a pleasant grainy, bready, slightly honey-caramel sweet maltiness and a balanced, herbal bitterness and floral fruitiness. A solid go-to local 6-pack.

Bottle thanks to motortoddhead. Amber in color. Skunky hops, grain, toasted malt, and caramel corn. Clean toasted malt with mild sweetness and round, clean bitterness on finish. Some lingering caramel in addition to the hops. Lightly dry. Digging a little of that raw grain malt flavor. Pretty good.

Bottled. Poured smoky orange with a short, dense, well-retained beige head. The aroma picked up bready and a touch of molasses malt with mild earthy and soapy hoppage around.. soft, but not that interesting. The flavor found chewy bread and biscuity sweetness at the core, with mild earth and spicy bitterness around.. more bready notes and a hint of molasses on the dry finish.. well-balanced and tasty. Lighter-bodied, dry, and somewhat grainy on the palate.. OK feel and flow.. aiight stuff.

Lou Malnati’s, Chicago tap ($5.50): Pours an amberish color with an off-white head. Aroma is of caramel malts and a little bit of hops. Taste is pretty straightforward and was right what I needed after a very long walk. Obviously, there isn’t much in the way of hops or anything. Caramel malts throughout. Nice and crisp at the same time. Well-balanced.
