COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If malt and hops are the two poles of brewing, this beer is the gently spinning sweet spot between them. First, you’ll notice the spicy aromas of Perle and Hallertau hops. Then - wipe the foam off the tip of your nose - dive into the toasty flavors of Vienna and Munich malts. Dynamo starts strong and finishes crisp and smooth. The balanced flavors, aromas, and even the coppery-red tones of this beer go great with everything. Fear no pairing. The best time to enjoy Dynamo is when you’re thirsty. Dynamo Copper Lager goes great with pizza, neighborhood block parties, spring rolls, first dates, football games, whiskey, tapas, the Sunday newspaper, late-night burritos, veggie omelets, business lunches, grilled mushrooms, pretzels, political debate, corn-on-the-cob, classic sci-fi flicks, mixed greens, campfires, salmon, billiards, cherry pie, rock shows, pumpernickel, salsa, grand openings, peanuts, sewing bees, extra sharp cheddar cheese, and holidays. Draft sample at RB - Chicago. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate floral hoppy aroma. Medium body with a thin smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a small bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable session brew.

Bottle that starts out looking dingy gold and ends with a color that a generous observer might call copper (on some sort of limited color wheel). Head is a small film of tiny bubbles and aromas are grassy with some caramel and biscuit maltiness. Flavor is dominated by watered down biscuit with a bit of honey and a little bit of a grassy presence in the finish. It’s good enough, but kind of boring.

This one poured as you might have guessed a copper color with an off white head. Aroma was slightly roasted malts with some sweetness. Flavor was smooth german malt with some notes of grassy and herbal hops.

This is a local beer I tried on tap at a local bar. I remember this being much better in the bottle, rather light traditional German-esque lager, very refreshing and easy to drink. I support my local brewer!

This one poured a dark amber or copper, with a shortlived white head. Grainy but biscuity. Just right for a lager in mouthfeel, and then the grassy finish. A good session brew.

Bottle from BeerBunker. Thanks! Toasty malt nose, caramel, and a little grass. Pours hazy copper with a lasting frothy head. Nice and toasty. Grass and a little pepper. Not complex, but tasty. Nice light lingering grass. Lively carbonation. A little lingering toast. Solid crisp finishing lager.

Not bad - not good. Skunky lightness in here like a crapola beer, but maltiness brought it back, and so it was decent if you just drank it and didn’t really think about it.

Lightly hazed amber to tan colored liquid. Small, but stable, off-white head. Grains and lightly toasted malt aromas. A hint of grassy hops as well. Fairly thin in feel, but doesn’t seem watery. Actually has a lightly oily feel as it warms a bit. LIght sweet start with just a bit of caramel. Herbal hops in the middle dry things out. Finish and linger are earthy and dry. Lightly astringent in the linger. The late bite takes away from the overall smoothness, but still better than what I would have expected.

Tap at Hop Leaf. Poured a rusty copper with a small off white head. Aroma was acid with some malts present. The aroma reminded me of blood, not pleasant. Flavor was pretty basic, some malts, a slight caramel flavor. Mediocre at best.
