1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Koelschtrinker (8479) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 11, 2011
Kaum CO2, keine Schaumkrone. Getreidig-säuerlicher Antrunk, minimal malziger Unterton, mild. Wässriger Mitteteil, etwas getreidig-karamelig. Zum Ende etwas herber, trotzdem ein Bier, bei dem man die Aromen vermisst.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 28, 2009
500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Oktoberfest 2009)
Pale slightly hazy gold, frothy head. Sickly sour aroma - rotting berries. Soft palate, a bit creamy and again sour fruits. Lagery, but not so malty. OK green hops and a slightly buddy finish. Interesting sharpness, but this isn’t to everyone’s taste I’m sure. Easily drinkable. Unusually, not shared by Anna.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MoritzF (7756) - Bochum, GERMANY - AUG 22, 2007
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet grainy, slightly biscuity nose with hints of butter and flowery, subtle fruity accents. Medium-sweet flavour, solid malty, grainy and slightly bready taste, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation; malt-accented finish with residual sweetness and a light bitterness to give a little balance. Sweet but pleasant to drink Helles.
