COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Miłosław Koźlak is a traditionally strong beer with an amber colour and a distinct, rich aroma. In the old days, bocks were brewed for special occasions, predominantly religious celebrations. Bavarian monks used to drink bock beer when fasting, which must have made the sacrifice less onerous. Miłosław Koźlak owes its complex flavour and rich aroma to four types of malted barley: light Pilsner, dark Munich, dark caramel and dark chocolate malt. The grand amber colour, accompanied by a thick head and a complex flavour, make this beer ideal for unhurried tasting. Miłosław beers are traditionally fermented in open vats and brewed exclusively with natural ingredients.

Ciemno miedziane, klarowne piwo o dość obfitej pianie, która zdobi szkło i dość szybko opada do zera. Aromat słodowy, karmelowy, skórki od chleba. W smaku dość słodkie, karmelowe, nuty opiekane, alkohol dobrze ukryty. Goryczka średnia w stronę niskiej. Ogólnie całkiem fajny koźlak, pije się go dość przyjemnie i szybko.

Aroma: mostly alcohol, also a little roastiness, a little bread, a little bit of caramel, and something like a whiff of chocolate. Appearance: slightly orangish brown; clear; head large, not terribly pretty, not terribly stable. Taste: bittersweet, marginally sour. Palate: body above medium; carbonation average; mouth feel a little spicy, very slightly corrosive, and very sticky; finish bittersweet. Overall: by the standards of this brewery, the alcohol is pretty damn well hidden; by normal standards it?s definitely too pronounced in the aroma. I must say I really like the balance in the taste, though. Certainly not great as a whole but actually fairly enjoyable.

Butelka 0,5 l. W aromacie czekolada, chleb, w tle nuty palonego słodu. Barwa ciemnomiedziana/brązowa, klarowna. Piana dość obfita, gęsta, pęcherzyki drobne. Szybko opada do obrączki z dziurawym kożuszkiem, zdobi szkło. Smak umiarkowanie słodki (nuty przypieczonej skórki chleba, czekoladowe) lekko gorzki. Wyczuwalny alkohol. Wysycenie niskie.

0.5 bottle. Dark brown color with a crimson tinge and a large, creamy, off-white head of good retention leaving proper lacing. Aroma of burnt malts, caramel, alcohol, grains, dough, and dark fruits. Taste comes as a disappointment: malty, full of alcohol, and generally unpleasant. A medium body, a creamy texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is fruitier but by no means good. Overall a very mediocre beer, looks splendid though.

Barwa ciemna, klarowna. Piana gęsta, jednak szybko opada. W smaku nuty słodowe dobrze zbilansowane z chmielami. Jak na koźlaka to bardzo dobre piwo.

Zapach fajny, wyraźnie słodowy. Lekko karmelowy i czekoladowy. Ładna gęsta drobnopęcherzkowa. Mimo, że szybko opada to ładnie oblepia szkło. Piwo jest naprawdę ciemne, brązowe, ledwo wręcz przebijające światło. Odpowiednie, niskie nasycenie. Smak przyjemny goryczka ukryta pod słodowymi barwami. Pomimo dużej objętości alkoholu jest on niewyczuwalny zarówno pod względem smaku jak i zapachu.

Hazy copper brown with airy white head. Nose is chocolaate, roasted malt, caramel, ripe fruits. Body is medium, carbon light. Taste is sweet and dry and bitter. Palate is dominated by roasted malt. B@H

Chestnut color, clear, rich beige head falling down to stable ring, some lacing. Caramel, bread crust, dried fruits in aroma. Malty, caramel taste, crisp. Low bitterness, not too sweet. Drinkable bock.
