The complexity of this beer is fantastic. Rich, but not too heavy on the palate, semi-sweet dark fruit finish.

can. Pours an almost black color with a medium-sized creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt along with some chocolate and coffee. Sweet flavor, big chocolate notes along with some roastiness. Medium bodied and smooth on the palate. I really enjoyed this.

Pours a dark brown color with tan colored head. Nuts, roasted malts and some hints of dark fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with nuts and caramel.

Decent brown ale. Pours dark cola in color with a decent tan head. Perhaps a little under carbonated. Smells of milk chocolate and cocoa. Taste is creamy cocoa and a touch of mocha. Nice on the palate. No bitterness. Smooth finish.

Sweet, fruity, figgy-vinous aroma. Fair can. Big light tan head, cascading pour, deep cola brown, clear. Goes absolutely flat, medium bodied. Roasted edge, dark syrup, bocky notes. Dark straw flavors, dubble-esque, moderately sweet, not bitter. Vanilla notes, cocoa notes, a little Redman. Not what I’m looking for in a brown. ABC Liquors, Betton.

I asked the bartender at the brewery if this was a Porter. He replied, "it’s an ale." I said, "Porters are ales." His response, "I guess you could call it a Porter." 20.6 srm; 29.6 IBUs Brown color where light does pass through the center of the glass. Some ring lace to the otherwise minimal head. Lots of milk chocolate aroma. Sweet and dark. Some caramel. Taste mimics the nose, perhaps with a little more mocha. Above average body with a below average level of carbonation. Smooth. There’s some sweetness and an element of liqueur to the taste.

Too much astrigent with taste of husk and not enough flavor. It's a deep brown with little hop and not much character ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ft. Lauderdale, Fl - Total Wine - 12 oz can. Deep dark brown pour, decently thick khaki colored head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is somewhat neutral, a bit of earthy topsoil. Flavor is kind of dull, some faint coffee notes, a bit of topsoil, chocolate if you really try hard, Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not a highlight of my trip to south Florida.

A very amateur brown ale, there is some caramel, roasted malts and a pungent bitterness. Didn’t like it.

(Rating #9,500) Draft... Pours clear and very dark with flashes of crimson and a small, wispy, white head. The aroma is all about café con leche - milk chocolate and Cuban-roast coffee. Medium to full-bodied with airy carbonation. The flavor is tragically acidic and soapy. Infected, tangy, raspy finish. I’d like to revisit this one, although I can’t do much better than drinking it on tap at the source.

12 oz can purchased and consumed in south FL. Aroma: lightly sweet; simple but pleasant medium and light roasted grains. hints of caramel. Flavor: slightly sweet but well balanced for style. Lacks complexity but has a solid malty flavor with no defects. Feel: medium body and carbonation. O: good version of style.
