Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of butter and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, butter, and caramel, as well as an acidic note that prickles the tongue. The mouthfeel is flat.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, a little floral touch and perhaps a wee whiff of butter. Medium-bodied with sweetish caramel, flowers and again a little butteryness. No real bitterness. 100908

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Mild spiced, slight butterish and light malty aroma. Bitter and slight butterish flavoured with a light fruity note to a mild breadish malt base. Spiced and slight bitter finish.

Bottle, 5.7%. Quite malty, a bit buttery aroma. Hazy dark amber colour. Very small head. Quite malty flavour, and also quite buttery. Not bad, but a bit too buttery.

Bottle (purchased at the brasserie): Copper coloured, mid-sized and stable lacing off-white head, dryish malty nose with a tinge of molasses and fruity-toasted-malty influences; light to moderate bitter-sweetish, almost dryish, flavour, flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 5.7% ABV; faint sweetish-malty finish, becoming dryer towards the delicate bitter end.
