Oct 4, 2007 Had this beer on 3/21/2000. Color is a crisp amber with fair carbonation and nice head. Aroma is a mild malt scent. Taste is rich and malty. Starts with a medium body goes down with a slightly creamy feel as a malt flavor begins to come on. Finish is a fairly rich malt flavor that taste a lot like an imported brew. This is backed by a light hop flavor and a mild bitterness.

Jul 26, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium off white head that mostly holds on. The aroma is roasted malt. The flavor has the same roasted malt character with some sweet caramel thrown in. A little watery, but not bad considering the price. Extra bump because it was a surprise addition to our local golf course and I didn’t have to drink the usual swill.

Jun 9, 2007 THE CARAMEL FLAVOR IS TOO RICH....AND SWEET! AND THE LACK OF BODY DOES NOT PRODUCE A CONTRAST THAT IS EITHER INTERESTING OR GOOD. ALL THE FLAVORS ANYONE WOULD EXPECT FROM AN IRISH AMBER. MAKIING THIS AN AVERAGE AMBER AND A HALF ASSED BEER. EXTRA POINT FOR BEING CHEAP AND BETTER ON DRAFT.
