2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 kappldav123 (3298) - Markkleeberg, - APR 8, 2009
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong and yeasty, modest sourish, the finish is much too dry and floury. Not my favourite!
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Grima (1574) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 21, 2010
500ml bottle!
The beer in glass is orange-yellow and medium cloudy, which loses its head, unfortunately, very fast. The smell is yeasty clovy. Starts very yeasty, subtle clove flavor, while very spicy effect. Towards the middle part it gets a little fruity, tangy, what does the whole very good. The finish is then fermented fruity, sour becoming minimal.
