This is not a bad beer to try if you want something other than a pale Lager. On the Bock side it isn’t but even without the body, taste, head, it isn’t that bad.

Draught @ The Argosy in NSC - Yes, it sucks, yes it’s boring, I still order it...Pours black with little head, aroma is faint toasted malt and old water, flavour is plain, light bitters, bit of toasted caramel malt...with you’re eyes closed you still know it’s dark even though the flavour doesn’t yell it, below average in every way, but I still drink it...

While this is a valiant attempt by Michelob, it still fails to impress. It pours a brown color with mild malt aroma and flavor. The worst lager aftertaste I have ever experienced, but if you must pick a macro- this one is not excrutiating.

Nice smooth dark pour, aromas of malt & roasted hops. This dark smells tastier than it actually is, but I have to say, it’s not taking away from anything. It’s a tad watered down, with flavors of roasted malt & hops, hints of carmel or perhaps coffee. It’s like a watered down Guiness. But it’s the perfect beer if you’re in the mood for something dark with out all the heavy flavoring of a dark lager or stout. My first impression is pretty descent.

Not bad for a mass produced dark lager. Roasted malt & caramel flavors very prevalent. Widely available, so a nice alternative when selection is limited.

Decent, easy to drink but just boring. Water down malt flavors and aroma. Thin and weak on palate with a slight bitter kick.

clear, dark amber color, slight off-white head, some lacing. nose is mostly air, hint of grain. not much in the flavor department...only a hint of some kind of sweetness. musch to mild. watery mouth-feel, sweet water finish. a waste of time. not offensive, but hardly there is the first place.

Dark brown, smooth, thin, roasted malt, caramel, little chocolate, little hops.
