Sep 14, 2008 bottle. a decent macro... much better than the typical macro on tap or in bottles. pours an amber with a 1/4" white head. aroma is lacking big time... just a faint sweet malt aroma. some caramel and rich malts on the palate with a slight bitter finish. medium body and fairly one dimensional. not terrible.

Sep 13, 2008 It has a nice and dark brown color to it. I personally like brown ales so this one is pretty good for an AB product. Probably their best one out there. And hey for around three bucks for a six pack (I work at a liquor store so I get nice discounts), I can’t complain. Which is something that I can very well.

Aug 25, 2008 This beer is crap (not suprising). Pour is a clear light brown/dark yellow. Tastes like a pissy macro with notes of light caramel and malt. Booorrrriiinnnggg

Aug 23, 2008 Well, there really isn’t much to say here other than that I probably will never have another one again. It’s better than many macros, but not by much. A little hoppy, a little caramel (not much) and a little alcohol. It’s just not a great beer.

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Extremely boring. I’ll admit that its better than many American Light Lagers, but that doesn’t really say much does it.

Aug 20, 2008 not as boring as the other Michelob’s but not something to reach for. They could learn a thing or two from the Dark Czech lagers.

Aug 17, 2008 It tasted like a michelob...does anyone else know what I mean? It was much better that the ultra and ultra amber but still not much to it.
