Slight roasted flavor. This is a great beer of someone trying to brake away from the macro hold.. It has just enough diversity to make a long time macro drinker wonder. I’ve always found this to be one of my favorite AB products. Always a good beer at this price point. Homebrewerguy (284), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 2, 2009 Pours a bright amber color with a passable head, good lacing, faint aroma of malt and hops, flavor is of some roasted malt and mild hops, nothing bock-like in this beer, more like an amber lager style but rather lite. Typical AB fare, catering to the masses. jrob21 (1257), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Do I rate this? Is it worth it? Oh well, here it goes. Distinct macro toasty corn flavor with light grassy hops to bitter the finish. Nothing about this is reminiscient of any other amber you or I have had. Goes down smooth and has a little more body than your straight pale lager. After that though, I am at a loss for anything else interesting to say here. Avoid it unless you have a choice between this and Michelob Ultra. skoll (127), Traverse City, Michigan, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Liight amber to dark pour with a decent creamy head. the flavor is lacking although its good... just watered down too much. it need a little more hops to add to the flavor but a good alterrnative beer. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 17, 2009 This beer is not too special. It’s a typical example of the style, but it’s an easy going style. BVery (461), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 11, 2009 TAP, BOTTLE: amber/brown pour, very mild roasted malt on the nose. Thin body, some caramel and nut on taste, but overall pretty bland. Obviously a better choice than others while in a bar with virtually no selection, but that’s about it. Maddog (234), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Sep 8, 2009 Another crappy beer from the biggest, suckiest brewery in the world. The pour is of course, filtered clear and the aroma has hints of malt. The flavor is nonexistent. Very thin, watered down and just plain boring with nothing, and I mean nothing to get excited about. There is no richness nor roasted malts that they claim. Come on AB, brew a damn beer for men. junon (216), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Man. This beer seems like it wants to be better than it apparently is. Aroma is very tight and I stress when trying to pick something out. Palate is thin. Colour is also thin. Flavour is almost makes it worthy. It has a very mild nutty note that could be pushed just a bit more. Almost good.
