Definitely the best Anheuser-Busch product. I’ll drink this if I can’t get Yeungling. This used to be my go-to, ’house’ beer. But the flavor disappeared when it went all-malt! It IS better on draught. tastybeer (33), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours brownish amber color, decent but quickly disappearing head. Flavor was chocolate/nutty and somewhat watery. Possibly best AB beer, a good beer for cheap. PsionSaint (51), Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2008 For being a "big brewery" beer, this was surprisingly good. Mind you, not up to good craft beer standards but I’d certainly order it over some of the other mass-produced stuff. Dark color, has an aroma, and mostly roasted malt flavors. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA

Smells roasty but thats as far as my smelling buds go. The flavor is somewhat malty, but more corny. I’m not sure you could say this is a bock. It has flavor, so that’s a plus i can’t say the same for it’s relatives. UriahHeep (103), Georgia, USA

Poured a brownish amber with a small whitish head. Nutty, grassy aroma. Light, watery mouth feel with some carmelly notes bringing sweetness into the foreground. A tasty beer, but ultimately too watered down to be special. VitaminR (426), Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 31, 2008 Fruity nutmeg malty nose. Brownish orange with a medium head. Light malt nutty sweetness, mild bitterness. Very carbonated, a bit thin in the body, finish is a bit rough. For a mass-produced beer, not that bad, probably would not try again, but would choose over many other mass-produced options. egajdzis (3621), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of caramel, nuts, and light dough. Taste of sweeter caramel, nuts, some wood and a bit of metal. Thinner mouthfeel.
