| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Tried this on tap one night because I had already tried every beer at this bar, because they had a lousy beer selection. aroma was slight and slightly carmel. the beer is displayed nicely in that kind of tulip glass that AB puts in in, and it served with a head that stays for a little while and makes this beer actually look good. flavor was lacking, no matlly carmel like I expect from a beer called bock, only slight malt profile, with Bud yeast showing throw in its clean yet apple like way. mouthfeel was way too carbonated and thin, carbonic bite and no body. yeah this isn’t good. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 15, 2008 12oz bottle from GF’s dad. Clear dark amber with small beige head. Aroma is corny with some darker caramel malt and sourness. Caramel flavors upfront that are taken over by a tired macro lager cornieness, sweeter than most macro lagers though. Medium bodied and well carbonated. Better than most american macros. shackinetics (132), Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 13, 2008 dark brown, with thick off-white head. looks better than it smells or tastes. Malty aroma and very apparent caramel flavors. Pretty thin and uninspiring. Still end up getting it a lot when I’m somewhere common with nothing darker/tastier on tap... | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Pours an ugly brown color. Doesn’t really taste like a bock at all. Really watery. I’d rather drink negra modelo and I really don’t like that stuff.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 10, 2008 Clear, dark, somewhat appetizing appearance. Decent aroma, smells of caramel. However, flavor and palate are very lacking and a little bitter. Better than regular Michelob, but not by much. Cheap and widely available. djd07 (733), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jan 9, 2008 On tap at Paul’s. Has a dark amber color with a small off white head. The aroma is very malty and carmel. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a watery malt with smooth finish, easy to drink but not too much going on with this one. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2008 A friend of my dad enjoys this beer so I was offered one while at a gathering there. Poured a brownish deep amber color with a thin, light tan head. Slight aroma of caramel. Slightly roasted caramel flavor and not much else. Thin, but easy to drink. Not horrible, but not good.
