Bottle. Pours clear amber with and off-white head. Thin aroma with some caramel and noble hops. Thin body, medium carbonation. A bit of caramel on the taste, but the hops seem to have pulled a vanishing act.

Draught. Caramal malt aroma, similar color. Dark brown with a touch of amber. Flavor is overly sweet with a smooth palate.

At least they put in some effort, am I right? Not smooth enough to be roasty - this is a bit sharper - and less clean than Fat Tire. Once put back 88 oz. of this during an evening-long confessional conversation with my dad, so I guess I am biased when I say I will never drink it again.

A nice fluffy white head that quickly fades. Beer is a med brown with a malty nose. Ligth maltiness, but with a taste of sme burnt grains are in there. Like most AB stuff it’s just too thin. Right direction and not terrible, just a 20 weakling in a powerlifting contest. This just doesn’t stack up with the heavyweights. I will enjoy the rest of it though.

Not just a horrible beer, but nothing special either. Tastes like a regular Michelob, just darker. Nice appearance but not as malty as I’d hoped and had a bitter aftertaste as well. This bottle was even fairly fresh.

Draft at a Renegades hockey game, thanks to maniac for the tickets. Amber. Faintly sweet malt aroma. Flavor is pretty much lightly sweet malt with some odd bitter hop on the finish to try to balance things out. Yucky. Should note that bocks just aren’t my thing.

pours dark maroon with a small egg-shell head. smell is skunky, roasted malts, grain. taste is metallic, caramel, malts, a bit of a creamy texture. not that good of a beer, the marzen is much better from michelob.

Mahogany body, with a thin, off-white head. Very sporadic lacing. Faint caramel aroma. Flavor is relatively weak, and it seems like the accountants at A-B were in charge of the malts and hops, again. Hardly any aftertaste. The great thing about this beer is that it’s not offensive. I’d say this one is just average for a dark lager, but keep in mind that there are many better ones within easy reach.
