alnjo (2), Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA does not count Jul 20, 2007 This is my favorite macro beer. It is great with many different foods and has a nice caramel nose. comquest (9), USA does not count Jul 16, 2007 I like Amber Bock bottled or draft, and always have some in my fridge. It’s a satisfying session beer that’s slightly sweet from the roasted malt and very smooth. Granted, you won’t find any big hops here but it’s still a tasty everyday brew that’s great with pizza or burgers. Quietman (160), Florida, USA Jul 15, 2007 Bottle.Brown with a white head.Smells of corn, caramel and roasted malt.Malt sweetness.Sweet almost like a soft drink. Not bad but not great either. republican1027 (8), USA does not count Jul 12, 2007 This is one of the beers that I try to keep in my fridge at all times. Nice dark appearance with a slightly sweet taste. Probably the only beer worth drinking from A-B. beerbomb (172), New Jersey, USA Jul 11, 2007 really didnt like this too much- pours nice and dark enough but aroma is burnt corn and plastic...flavor is corn and corn syrup with a hint of toasted malts. really just isnt that good. michelob probably isnt a good place to look for a dark lager bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 2, 2007 Blah, taste like cheap malts were used, and I think there’s hops in this, I’m not sure, I can’t taste any if there is. Just, a bad beer. Don’t drink it. MichelobMyBeer85 (1), Starke, Florida, USA does not count Jul 2, 2007 It had a roasty, and a slight caramelized vanilla taste to it, with that being said,
I’d also say that it had a good medium sweetness, the body was light with a soft carbonation, if there was a knock that I could sense,
it would be that it had somewhat of a short finish. It was the first beer I had ever tasted/tried, and without a shadow of a doubt, I feel in love with it from the get go.
I would by far recommend, this beer to anyone worth talking to. Beerlando (2281), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 26, 2007 Cola colored pour with little head. Tastes like cheap roasted malts with virtually no hops to balance it out. Not a pleasant beer. Syrupy body.
