If this was tasted blind I would say pale lager with some pumpernickel bready malt. Aroma of worchestershire sauce and some caramel. No lacing no retention. Bready finish. This one’s half decent when you are talking about a American Macro, I certainly don’t go out of my way to get it, but when your choices are limited this can sometimes be one of the best options (I know, high praise indeed). Tejas (695), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 27, 2009 Draft at Sixth Ward. Pours a deep reddish brown, almost cherry-coke like in color, with minimal white head. Aroma of cherry, malt, and caramel. Flavors go right with the aroma: cherry and caramel with a bit of malt behind. It ends sort of flat. Fairly average. spiritsbeerman (47), Nicholasville, Kentucky, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jun 25, 2009 NOSE: A slight carmel with the sweet malt. POUR:A dark brown lots of carbonation with a 2" head. little or no lacing. TASTE: Sweet malty flavor with notes of caramel. FINISH: I got nothing. A very drinkable amber but why not drink A nice full flavor beer if you are going to the trouble to drink a dark beer. Block (365), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 24, 2009 Brown pour with little head. Aroma was entirely pale malts with a touch of caramel. The flavor was much the same and I’m actually surprised at how light it was. Basically Michelob with a drop of caramel. Nothing too complex or too dark.
