Brown in color with little head and no lacing. Slightly above average AB beer, but nothing spectacular.

A 12 oz bottle with a freshness date on the label. The beer poured just like a cola pop, you should know what this looks like. The smell is of roasted malt. The taste is a smooth roasted malt with a slight hint of hops that make it easy drinking and mild. Some lacing and good carbonation. Beer snobs suck!

On tap at local pub. I am a fan of Doppelbock, and Maibock style beers so I thought this one would please. I was wrong. This beer lacked any complexity whatsoever. Like a gentlemen, I finished the beer. However, it was not impressive, nor enjoyable.

Aroma is sweet malt, a wierd chemically dullness, and that trademark Bud Aroma. Pours a lightish brown with a wierd grey/green hue. Flavor is mildly sweet. Sort of refreshing. Some chemicals, that Bud taste. I guess it could be worse. Probably the best AB beer that there is.

On tap. Surprisingly pleasing dark color with a thin but persistent head. No discernible aroma. Totally drinkable, strong caramel, with a sweet aftertaste. Almost no hops up front, but there should be. It’s as if Michelob had a good beer, then decided to add 3 oz of water to every bottle. Still, one of the best cheap big beers out there.

Decent taste, but not enough of it. Too watery and weak for me. Roasted caramel flavor, not much hop flavor. Thin and carbonated mouthfeel
