THOUGHTS: A little malt and hops in the aroma, but I just about had to stick my nose in the beer to smell it. It was pleasant but almost non-existent. Sweet tasting with some hops in the finish, but much like the aroma the flavor was pleasant but not stron enough. The mouthfeel was also way too thin. Not bad for a macro but not a great beer. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium copper with a medium-sized, frothy, off-white head that quickly diminished and didn’t leave much lacing at all. THe aroma was light caramel malt and light hops with just a touch of cola. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, and the finish flavor was moderately sweet and lightly bitter with a short duration. The body was light and watery with soft carbonation and lightly astringent finish.

Large chalice ordered at Lone Star. Murky brown/amber. Decent lacing. Not great, but WAY better than I was expecting. Lagers are my least favorite (I know the lable says ’Bock’ but c’mon) but this was tolerable. Faint aroma. Roasted malts no real hop addition.

Bottle. Nice brown pour with minimal head. Aroma is slight, but still inviting. Flavor is nice with caramel, vanilla. Not bad, nothing outstanding either however.

I know Michelob at least attempts to make something decent out side of normal A-B beer, but this one does taste right. I can taste a adjunct flavors in the after and the everything fall short. Its not worth my money anymore.

I didn’t expect much from this, being a mainstream beer and all. And I didn’t get much. It’s decent enough to drink, but it’s also fairly generic in every sense. The head disappears almost immediately. Everything about it tastes engineered, like they took a MIchelob, spraypainted it brown and added extra artificial malt and hop flavoring. Avoid it unless you cannot.

12 oz. bottle. Compared to real bock beers, this is just, well, you know, just A-B. Sorry, but simply can’t recommend this.

Draft-Marshalltown, IA. Beautiful looking amber-red body with white head. Aside from this, a fair beer.

Tried this as part of the Michelob Seasonal pack. Good flavor, nice color, and one you can enjoy.
