Anglofile (135), Piti, Guam Oct 12, 2006 Baseball game. Amber colour with a small creamy mostly lasting head. Aroma and taste of malts and fruits. Smooth to go down when the sun is out. Not a bad macrobrew. I don’t want another though. MadIndian (987), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 8, 2006 On bottle. Poured a brownish color. A mild sugar aroma. Had a soapy taste too thin for me. It was below average. shine (3), Lexington, Kentucky, USA does not count Oct 7, 2006 I had this beer an hour after having my very first sip of Arrogant Bastard Ale. So what chance does this rather boring beer have of tasting any good? None. I’d guess that this is a great beer to cook hotdogs in.
Nice color though.
kimcgolf (822), Dacula, Georgia, USA Sep 24, 2006 Not a bad beer for a BMC macro. Nice dark color with lingering off-white head, and some lacing. Aroma was mild, but had some malty roasted nut undertones. This had an okay taste, and smooth finish. All and all, not a bad beer for the price. FrankJohansen (3327), Sabro, Denmark Sep 23, 2006 Bottle. Amber colour with a small creamy mostly lasting head. Aroma and taste of malts and fruits. nice beer. MrEcted1 (144), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA Sep 22, 2006 I guess I should give this beer some props because it is the beer that got me into drinking real beers (so I bumped the overall a little bit for good measure). Back when I was a brew newbie I thought this stuff was great! Well, when I sampled it again after many MANY brews and many moons later I found it to be very dull and boring. When they gave me this beer on tap at a local pub I was somewhat excited. It does have a pretty decent appearance, but the flavor is just not there anymore. Head was average. Has maybe a bit of carmel taste but not much more. Good beer for aspiring beer geeks... it makes people a little bit less afraid of "dark" beers. porterhouse (1148), Alna, Maine, USA Sep 20, 2006 (Bottle) Pours sort of an iced-tea brown with a smallish biege head. Aroma is very weakly caramel, also featuring an off-putting metallic or mineral element. Mouthfeel thin and prickly. No real lacing. Flavor is bland and thin - very weak toasted caramel. No real body or flavor here at all. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Sep 10, 2006 On tap. Another aroma and flavourless american. Damnation! What the deuce! Holy macrel! Bloody hell! And so on. Nothing really interesting to say - sorry.
