stubby (325), Santee, California, USA Sep 7, 2006 Surprisingly free of flavor and body. Darkest beer with the least flavor I think I have ever tasted. Was decent after a hot round of golf. It was ice cold. I am sure there is more flavor in there somewhere when it warms up. IrishBoy (2685), Bakersfield, California, USA Sep 5, 2006 Draft at Papa O’s Pizza; nose was malts with some caramel notes; amber with a medium beige head; sweet caramel malt flavor; could not really taste any hops! AdamGott (190), Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA Sep 4, 2006 beerhouse aroma (cigs and stale beer, maybe it is just a memory jogger here), watery appearance, first drink kind of made me cringe but after that it was ok, kind of had a butyric acid aftertaste (vomit) milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Sep 4, 2006 On tap at Olive Garden. This is the best of their terrible tap offerings. This is the only A-B brew that I’ll drink---and only on tap when I have no non-BMC alternatives. Araven (13), Cottage Grove, Minnesota, USA Sep 1, 2006 Nice dark cola color, Rich scent and a medium size head when poured. IMO tastes better from the tap rather than a bottle. Good beer to drink when sitting in a bar or around friends. KennethJ17 (18), East Alton, Illinois, USA Aug 27, 2006 It’s a decent beer. I enjoy drinking it. A middle of the road beer. Easy to find and in most cases not overly expensive for what you get. But could fork out a little more and get a better product. ohnoitskristin (62), Santa Cruz, California, USA Aug 27, 2006 On tap. Poured a amber (hah pun intended) golden color with a small beige head. Aroma was slightly overdone on the maltiness. Taste was very toasty with caramel hints. Nice brew, pretty good overall but still doesn’t have anything special going for it. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA Aug 22, 2006 Decent effort from Anheuser-Busch, much better than the better-selling Bud or Bud Light. Dark and malty, but still a bit bland. Better choice than cheap lagers.
