not big on flavor, but there was a little..
draft.. trayns (237), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA May 1, 2009 Tap. Pours a brown amber color with a medium white/beige head. No aroma to comment on other than caramel/malt sweetness. Taste is dominated with malts as expected. A little thin on the palate. Elwood (647), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Apr 28, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a pillowy off white head. Malty nose with caramel dominating, but also a pungent off note I can’t quite place. A little stale smelling. Medium carbonation with a medium body. Strong off metallic note on the palate. Sweet malt with caramel notes also. Slightly dry. Lingering metallic finish. The metallic taste overrides any other taste. I had this beer long ago and it wasn’t nearly this bad. I have to assume this bottle is past it’s prime and it was a total drain pour. Retest in the future. Snot19kilo (81), Oakwood, Illinois, USA Apr 24, 2009 pours drank brown with a little off white head. Malt Aroma. Caramel malt water flavor. not much to the body. Leaves a feel of water in the mouth. very thin for a bock. Michhelob could do better. it’s is a sub-average dark ale, shouldn’t be called a bock. Finish is of water just like the flavor. thin through to the end. looks pretty but doesn’t taste like pretty beer. smith4498 (816), Miami, Florida, USA Apr 12, 2009 Pours dark brown with off white head. Faint malty aroma. Toasted malt flavor with some caramel. Thin body with average carbonation. OK for a macro. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Apr 11, 2009 Tap. Pours an amber brown. Light roasted caramel malt nose and taste. Mouth is very thin. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Apr 8, 2009 This was a ll fucking stinky and shit,. like smoky in a bad way, like some damn cigaretter but. its as if they eanwwted it to hide the fact that ythey used corn for their flavor- th eonly flavor this beer had, but when it is frees with your sushi, you go right ahead and keed drinking. troopie (848), USA Mar 29, 2009 Bottle. First the Ratebeer description is correct, this is NOT a bock. Bottle. Poured brown with thick fast dissipating white head. Faint roast malt flavour with weak hop. Weak watery finish. Not as bad as most A-B, products.
