This beer pours a deep brown with a thin white head. The aromas are nut, breast. It has a full body and is slightly sticky. Cheers!
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Onslow (640) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. medium to dark amber brew with large bubbled head that rises and falls quickly. Aroma is very laagerish with perhaps a bit more maltiness. Flavor is akin to a full bodied lager, which is better than a light bodied lager but a disappointment in this style. A bit of carmel malts at the start of the swallow and passing reference to hoppiness in the finish. Inoffensive and lacking in zest.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 gpekar (391) - Maryland, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Poured crystal clear rich dark copper with a 1" light tan head that became just a film rather quickly. The color of the beer is great, but the quick disappearance of the head hurts the appearance rating. There was a light amount of carbonation bubbles rising up from the bottom of the glass. There was a very light caramel malt aroma. The beer had a slightly dry initial taste and a mild hint of caramal malt flavor. The flavor faded away rather quickly as the head had earlier.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 fourplayed (69) - Lakewood, California, USA - OCT 23, 2010
On tap into 12oz mug. Thin head. Clear Med light Amber. Smells are very mild, catching some malt sweetness, caramel & hops. Taste is mild caramel malts, decent hops. Some Hop bite and dryness on the tongue, Lite body, medium zesty carbonation, and a bit of malty stick in back of throat at finish with some alcohol warmth as well. A nice brew fro the price. Goes down easy!
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 bpreo (917) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - OCT 11, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2010 Meant to be even more sophisticated than regular Michelob. It is, and it isn’t.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 troyc (2014) - Oklahoma, USA - OCT 8, 2010
[Tap] Pours a clear light brown color with a small fizzy head. Aroma of caramel and dusty malts. The taste is of light brown sugar, caramel and toffee. All of the flavors are highly muted and the beer is quite weak and watery. Nothing really offensive here though. For the conspiracy theorists out there... Ziegen Bock = Michelob Amber Bock?? I say yes.

I actually like this beer alot when it’s chilled. Great roasted malt taste that is good any time of the year. At least AB got it right on one beer. This is probably my favorite "cheap" beer
