Tastes like my fingers did when I used to go to the penny candy store when I was a kid. All copper and metal with a slight caramel maltiness to it; though very faint. Terrible beer. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Draught. Pours a thickish non lasting pale head over a clear amber body....nose of light malts.....taste is light with the malts somehow disappearing , minimal hop...no real finishing tastes...mouthfeel is light. Overall very light and uninteresting. Thanks, I think, to Ellen for sharing a taste. BroSpud (595), , Massachusetts, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Feb 15, 2009 Bottle. Multiple tastings. (Review of past tastings from memory) Slightly better than a standard Michelob but still pure swill. Ashamed I ever drank the stuff. Beer has come a long way since the days that this was one of the few options available. Never again. puggy211 (584), cordova, Tennessee, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Chestnut brown, with no head. Some chocolate icing aroma. Much lighter than expected. Some cola style malty taste, especially in the finish, but overridingly watery flavour + plenty of fizz! Apparently no strength or flavour. This ain’t no Bock.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep amber with slight head. Not too hoppy, grainy, malty, or stout. Slight caramel taste. Very smooth, nice finish. One of the best American lagers out there, pretty good for macro. As one member said, it goes good with pizza! | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Draught at the Big Hunt. Dark amber with almost no head. Really faint aroma of wet toasted grain. Sweet caramel and dark toast flavor with almost no bitterness and no detectable hops. Papery and over-carbonated mouthfeel. No bad flavors really, but hopelessly uninteresting.
