Ugh is this awful! Aroma and taste were identical. Pennies. Yes, that’s right....pennies. Tastes like my fingers did when I used to go to the penny candy store when I was a kid. All copper and metal with a slight caramel maltiness to it; though very faint. Terrible beer.

12oz bottle 2/20/09 (Meijer Grocery Store)-Pours a brownish/amber body with a small off white head. Aroma of slight malt. Taste of malt and nothing else. This light to medium bodied brew is very bland and light. Unimpressed.

Bottle. Pours a clear brownish red with a thin off-white head. No lacing. Grainy malt aroma. Slightly sweet flavor, a bit dry, cereal flavor. Light and crisp.

Draught. Pours a thickish non lasting pale head over a clear amber body....nose of light malts.....taste is light with the malts somehow disappearing , minimal hop...no real finishing tastes...mouthfeel is light. Overall very light and uninteresting. Thanks, I think, to Ellen for sharing a taste.

Bottle. Multiple tastings. (Review of past tastings from memory) Slightly better than a standard Michelob but still pure swill. Ashamed I ever drank the stuff. Beer has come a long way since the days that this was one of the few options available. Never again.

Chestnut brown, with no head. Some chocolate icing aroma. Much lighter than expected. Some cola style malty taste, especially in the finish, but overridingly watery flavour + plenty of fizz! Apparently no strength or flavour. This ain’t no Bock.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber with slight head. Not too hoppy, grainy, malty, or stout. Slight caramel taste. Very smooth, nice finish. One of the best American lagers out there, pretty good for macro. As one member said, it goes good with pizza!

Draught at the Big Hunt. Dark amber with almost no head. Really faint aroma of wet toasted grain. Sweet caramel and dark toast flavor with almost no bitterness and no detectable hops. Papery and over-carbonated mouthfeel. No bad flavors really, but hopelessly uninteresting.
