Optigon (546), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Jan 18, 2007 Not a bad beer from a macro. Little head, dark brown coloration. A bit of a sweet malty quality with a light hop finish. A bit of an after-taste comes about, which is less than pleasing, but an okay macro beer. For practical application, this makes for a good party beer, in that it pleases those who like some flavor in their beer, but isn’t so foreign that those who aren’t into good beer aren’t taken aback.
1_2many (200), Ohio, USA Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Extremely boring. I’ll admit that its better than many American Light Lagers, but that doesn’t really say much does it. fata2683 (62), APO, New York, USA Aug 20, 2008 not as boring as the other Michelob’s but not something to reach for. They could learn a thing or two from the Dark Czech lagers. smjohnst (115), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 17, 2008 It tasted like a michelob...does anyone else know what I mean? It was much better that the ultra and ultra amber but still not much to it. WakeandBake (30), Greenville, Michigan, USA Aug 14, 2008 Pours a nice clear medium dark with a semi-white head that doesn’t last,Aroma is faint roasted malts and hop spiciness. Taste is well balanced but unassertive, mostly caramel malt , along with slight hop bitterness, more hops would make this better, not bad for AB I would drink again. NomDeBeer (129), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Aug 14, 2008 It’s not amber in color, and it doesn’t have the alcohol content of a bock. Hmm? It is uneventfully drinkable though.
