Minimal head but nice color. Everything else is quite subpar. Certainly not a bock?! Slight malty taste, quite inoffensive. Little to no hops taste. Rerate from draft - decent head, great orange color, malty aroma and palate that was a bit overcarbonated.

Overall Impression: This one’s half decent when you are talking about a American Macro, I certainly don’t go out of my way to get it, but when your choices are limited this can sometimes be one of the best options (I know, high praise indeed).

The color of root beer with a quick fading head. Slightly sweet carmel flavor. It’s drinkable, but nothing to write home about. (I’m convinced that it’s the rice that produces the hangover.)

This is not that bad of a beer, but it’s not getting any love for being A-B that’s for sure. Pours dark brown, big white head. Pretty sweet tasting lots of crystal malts in there, very little hops if any, just a nice caramel and roasted flavor. I think when I get this really fresh it seems to even have slight banana aftertaste to me. Not a bad beer at all.

My roomate got a keg of this for his graduation and i had way too much of it. I had it again at a restaurant to bring back the taste. A good beer by Michelob. A nice dark color with medium head. Malt in the taste but not too overwhelming. A good beer I had with dinner.

Rated 8/4/06: Another one of my go to beers if the bar has a poor selection. I had this at a pub tonight simply for this reason. I’ve enjoyed this brew throughout the years on many occasions and I still thinks it’s a solid example of a decent style. Aroma is faint but some creamy malt can be detected. Pours a nice dark amber with a decent tan head. Feels a bit creamy and smooth on the palate. Flavor is usually solid light yet decently malty. Nothing special here just a pretty decent make for this style of beer. Always been better on tap than out of the bottle, good bar beer.

The flavor was average and it went down easy.

Dark amber color, with thin fizzy whitish tan head. Very light aroma of malt and something else I cant lay a finger on. Overly carbonated with some malty watery flavor. Thicker than most beers but the taste still of water. Overall, not bad
