A favorite of mine when at the bowling alley. A mild malty taste and an non-offensive aftertaste. Skyview (4128), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 7, 2010 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Cellars Wine & Spirits. Pours a clear dark amber colored brew with a thin off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of roasted dark malt, corn, a hint of brown sugar, and floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, a touch malty with flavors of corn, roasted caramel malt and some toffee. Finish is a touch watery with some mild bitterness and roasted dark malt aftertaste. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 28, 2005 The rating here is likely inflated because this savior of mine helped repress the awefulness of the Cave Creek Chili Beer. Reddish-amber pour with little head and no lacing. There was not a whole lot going on in the aroma or flavor departments. I did notice some faint roasted malts in the end. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 6, 2005 Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev - my bottle. Poured very dark amber with a thin white gruel of head. Sour funky vegetal aroma, stale roast malt, not much else, although it gets sugary and almost spicy as it warms. Taste is vaguely caramel-sweet, some stale spices - not great. Mouthfeel both flat and lively, thin, weird. Not great, but better than regular Michelob, that’s for sure - smells bad, though. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 27, 2003 Dark Amber color. Small head. Aroma is malty, sweet and honeyish. A light bodied “Bock”. Malts are fairly mild, slightly nutty and sweet. Hops are virtually non-existent. No real beer like qualities, tastes more like an under-carbonated coke. Not much flavor. Kind of watery. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is sweet. Rciesla (3915), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours a brown amber body with a white head. Lightly nutty with some burnt malt and a thin hoppiness in the finish. One of the better AB non experimentals. Grovlam (3881), Copenhagen, Denmark

Clear amber color. Aroma of light malty notes. Over the palate came nutty, toasted malt, caramel, hint of bread. Light bodied with a lively carbonation. Light sweet flavor with hints of bitterness. Light sweet finish.
