Bottle. Dark copper with a light head. Sweet hay. Fruit and sourish malt. Decent.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark Reddish Mahogany Color, Big Head, Light Strings Of Lacing. Virtually No Aroma. Grainy, Light Toast, Light Bitter. Watery Thin Body. Nothing Bock About It, Dark Lager. Not Terrible, Drinkable. Then Again, Just Because it Is Not a Drain Pour, Does Not Mean It is Worth Having It.. Pass It...

3.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer is not bad. Weak in aroma, but nice amber color, great malted barley taste, and some other grainy tastes as well. Also has a nice white foamy head. I do enjoy drinking this beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
One of the seemingly permanent taps at Boat Works in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
I had this after having three drinks previous, and even then, I didnít care much for this beer. I will be honest, being an Anheuser-Busch product, itís not that bad at all... itís a fair beer. Itís the epitome of an "okay" brew -- average in every sense. Pours like your typical amber bock would. Smells and tastes like a run-in-the-mill amber bock does. The feel is a slight step up, but not much. The feel just makes this beer a bit more drinkable, as thereís a thin texture with reasonably high carbonation.
Cheap grains. Quite sweet. Fair amount of flavor, but no depth. Hops seem to barely be there, if at all. Thereís not much to say about Michelob AmberBock other than the fact that itís a nice option for the price it is. Itís about the same price as a Bud Light, but actually has a bit of flavor.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
@ Party Town / Florence KY I remember in college drinking this when I wanted something better than the PBR and Bud. It is still that way, except now Iíve had "real" beers, and this becomes a sweet caramel malt with carbonation. Appearance is good right after the pour: amber brown with a 2" golden head. Soon, itís down to no head-no lace, end of the story.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber color. Aroma is weak but slightly roasty. Flavor is a bit roasty and with some maltiness. Good for what is is for sure but not anything to write home about.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is decent when compared to other American macrolagers. Itís good BBQ or lawn mowiní beer. Itís a touch sweet and is rather malty. The liquid is brown and claer with minimal aroma.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Thought this beer was okay the first time I had it. Of course, I first had this in a frosted mug that diluted the flavor, and hence, the offensive qualities of this brew. After having it the "proper" way, I saw why my local barbecue joint had chosen to serve this stuff ice cold. This lager has a thin, weak body. It takes no time at all for its cereal sweetness to become skunky and metallic. Donít expect this brew to have complexity or rich flavor. Youíll be sorely disappointed.
