Cola colored pour with little head. Tastes like cheap roasted malts with virtually no hops to balance it out. Not a pleasant beer. Syrupy body.

Looks like cola. Smells a little bready. Some roasty flavors, but not much. This was my first "dark" beer.....hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I’ve had this beer many times bottled and on tap. The taste is wonderful and I truly love it for a darker lager. It is one of my favorite beers however I had to give it a 9 instead of 10 for flavor. If you just drink one, the after taste is not to appealing.

Tap at the College Greene (classy): Pours a brownish amber with almost no head at all. Has a sweet aroma, some sugary crystal malts. The flavor is overly sweet with a ton of brewing cereal. Also has no bitterness. Not too enjoyable at all.

This is a little more expensive for a macro, but tastes more like beer and less like water. Kudos to Michelob for this one

Bottle. Dark brown in color with an OK head. This is an OK beer from A-B. At least it is drinkable.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2007 It’s OK, it’s not bad. Not the best beer I had. That’s really all I have to say about it. Drank it from a lager glass

Brown in color with little head and no lacing. Slightly above average AB beer, but nothing spectacular.
