A: The pour is a bit on the reddish side for a bock--light mahogany color with a creamy off-white head on top. S: The nose is sweet and cola-like with a bit of caramel maltiness. Not overly intense by any sense. T: There is a similar sweetness to the flavor, again exhibiting cola and caramel, but not a lot of the other flavors that you usually see in a bock. I don’t really pick up any chocolate or hop notes. M: The beer is somewhat on the light side of medium in terms of body with maybe a bit of a creaminess to the mouthfeel. D: This isn’t really a bad beer by any sense, but it’s not a great one either. Probably gets a bad rap for being an AB product (make your own judgment there), but something that’s passable.
