Sweet, woodsey taste with a hint of hops, towards the end. Nice body, although, lighter than expected. Very middle of the road, although, it is without a doubt, the best the King has to offer.

This is what I drink when my only other choice is Budweiser.

I was actually really surprised by this beer. I wouldn’t expect much from a large brewing company like Anheiser Busch, but this beer is actually fairly tasty.

A very good dark lager that has all the taste that it should, but doesn’t fill you up. One of my favorite beers!

Not a real bock, but a nice, almost sweet taste. Great beer.

Medium amber, weak head and lace. Lighter than I think it should be. Its a Bock for cryin out loud!!Slightly syruppy sweet and spritzy. Husky corn like finish. Totally lacking in body. Obviously mean to give lawnmower beer drinkers the impression they are drinkingn something sophisticated. Goes down smooth.

Agree with others... for cheap, easily available beer (you can often find it on tap at restaurants which, otherwise, have only Bud & Miller Lite), it’s not bad. The taste is a bit of a letdown, after seeing the nice color, but decent. I notice that if I drink a lot of it, a sort of alcohol-burn feeling starts to accumulate in the corners of my mouth. That’s not a good thing...

I tend to drink more dark beer in the winter and this beer always satisfies. It’s not the best beer in this category but you can do much worse.

I had this beer an hour after having my very first sip of Arrogant Bastard Ale. So what chance does this rather boring beer have of tasting any good? None. I’d guess that this is a great beer to cook hotdogs in. Nice color though.
