Not much aroma, but I was able to pick out some mild coffee, light mil chocolate, and a little roasted notes. Off-white head virtually disappears giving a dark amber-brown color. Nice nutty, toasted flavor and very smooth on the palate.

Jesus H. Christ, finally a Busch family product with some flavor! Decent amber color, with a decent malty, honey aroma. There is some bockish flavor going on here, with a decent, smooth, malty aftertaste. This beer is not bad.

Another good try but they didnt pull it off too well. I can drink this beer if it is almost frozen. Has some sweetness and malt flavor. No real hops are evident/

The rating here is likely inflated because this savior of mine helped repress the awefulness of the Cave Creek Chili Beer. Reddish-amber pour with little head and no lacing. There was not a whole lot going on in the aroma or flavor departments. I did notice some faint roasted malts in the end.

Bottle. Amber color, small offwhite head. Roasted aroma, a bit strange with malts somewhere behind those strange things. Sweet flavor, thin and with some hops.

Bottle. Pours a brown amber body with a white head. Lightly nutty with some burnt malt and a thin hoppiness in the finish. One of the better AB non experimentals.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2003 Good beer if I'm not in the mood for a stout or a pale. Falls right in the middle of the two and has enough flavor to keep me satisfied and so thick as to get me full.<P> Rerate!: screw that bs I was talking about before. This is a DMStastic darkaholic macro brew fest of a shindig.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2005 "Mild" is the key word here. Looking like weak cola, it’s got a mild caramel aroma, a thin body, and a mild sweet malt taste, The finish was merely wet. Nothing to offend, but nothing to impress. Water is a better quencher.

12 oz. bottle from a sampler. Dark amber color with a thin head, decent retention and lacing. Pretty generic roasted malt aroma with some light chocolate notes. Taste is roasted malt with banana and caramel notes. Odd flavor in the finish. Thin bodied.

Ernest (5187) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 18, 2003
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2006 Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is light brown. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks, caramel), with a light note of detergent. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Quite bland and almost aroma-free, presumably made for people who dislike beer.
