2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 unclemattie (3354) - Georgia, USA - JUN 22, 2008
12oz twist-off bottle. Medium brown color, with a rocky eggshell colored head. Aroma of toffee and spicy hops. Hints of corn. Flavor is a sweet toasted malt. Light lingering flavors of a hop bitterness. A bit too light bodied for me to enjoy. If the original gravity was a bit more bold, this would be a potential homerun. Until then, I wouldn’t, waste time drinking this again.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 EithCubes (3340) - GERMANY - NOV 29, 2008
After multiple pitchers on draft at the local Video Saloon, I’d come to know this as light-bodied, having a grainy, husky caramel malt taste, cleaner than many and not something I’d mind repeating. Now from the bottle - nose is dusty, lightly grainy but now showing some bread and sweet caramel malt. Dark amber pour with a lightly lacing beige head. Taste reasonably try with just a touch of bitterness, aromatic character slowly creeping in. Too many Coke notes. Carbonation is weak (and worse - cheap) and the finish sours somewhat. Light body with a pinch of creaminess. One of the better macros available.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 IrishBoy (3339) - Bakersfield, California, USA - SEP 5, 2006
Draft at Papa O’s Pizza; nose was malts with some caramel notes; amber with a medium beige head; sweet caramel malt flavor; could not really taste any hops!
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Beerlando (3325) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 26, 2007
Cola colored pour with little head. Tastes like cheap roasted malts with virtually no hops to balance it out. Not a pleasant beer. Syrupy body.

Weak malt, no hops, and a weird color. Watered down so much it could be used on the sidelines of a football game as a rehydration tool.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 hotstuff (3249) - Indiana, USA - NOV 16, 2006
Bottle with a born on date of 21Aug06. Ivory small fizzy head that mostly diminished, virtually no lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, and an orange red hue. Nose was malty and sweet. Flavor was sweet, malty and somewhat rich tasting. Tingly, spritzy mouthfeel. Light body. Nothing special or great. Quaffable.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Cavie (3248) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - MAR 4, 2009
Nice dark pour with ample head. Tasted a little more watery than I had expected or would have liked, but for it being what it is, I was quite pleased.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 oldrtybastrd (3229) - Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA - DEC 27, 2005
Pours a nice medium amber color. Nice roast aromas with some hops. Flavor has a roast almost burnt grain flavor to it, finishes with a nice bitterness.

I feel dirty even thinking of rating this. Smells like Clydesdale ass. Doesnt hold head at all. Weird AB yeast flavor hits you in the face as the beer crosses the lips Doesn’t hold up to somewhat spicy Chinese food at all. The roastiness is soap-like. I feel like I need a shower.
