2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A-B runs full-page ads for this in BYO, but considering how they boast about using rice right on the label, I don't see why. Decent enough color. Thin head fizzles away like any Budweiser. There's a hint of roastiness here, and a slightly bitter hop aftertaste that lingers briefly. Another mega brew, easily forgotten.
But it might have gone better had the bottle I had at Bennigan's not been served in their usual frosty glasses. How a place with over 20 beer taps care so little about beer stumps me. For the $5 they charged, I could have a fine imperial at any brewpub.

Looks great nice malt aroma, but after the cool amber garnet pour it ends there. So watery so acidic and no mouthfeel whatsoever. Carbonation just like a bud.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Expected this to be much darker and bolder for a bock. This has little flavor and is typical of many big company beers. Should have stuck with them, but the bock on the label tricked me.

A miserable joke from the craft beer section. Weak flavor, weak head. The color of tepid Coke after all the ice has melted.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Horrible, could be one of worst beers I have tried. Had at The Orleans in vegas cuz it was only non fizzy yellow beer they had that was free at tables. My mistake I should pay to have a decent beer. Horrible medium malt butiric flavor. Mouth coating stale sugar. Couldnít even finish.

Just sickening dirty malts. Pours clear amber but really flat. Could not put and keep this down. Just wierd sweet malts coving an otherwise grain tea.

Caramel in taste. Very dull beer with rather poor taste and aroma. Typical beer from huge brewery.

Bleh... nothing to ever write home about. Itís a "gateway beer" to the very definition. Thereís some flavor there that might interest people who havenít tasted that in beer before... and in a pinch itíll work...but itís just a bit boring.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours with a pretty decent head on it, but quickly goes away, leaving some lacing on the glass....Aroma is mostly of roasted malt and some caramel, but not much... Taste is actually pretty bland, even my first sips with the head werenít great. I get more sweet than bitter and maybe slightly salty and dark roastedness...Mouthfeel is thin, maybe watery even. It is very drinkable however....Overall Iím disappointed in it. Itís not terrible, but itís better than most other A-B products.
