A-B runs full-page ads for this in BYO, but considering how they boast about using rice right on the label, I don't see why. Decent enough color. Thin head fizzles away like any Budweiser. There's a hint of roastiness here, and a slightly bitter hop aftertaste that lingers briefly. Another mega brew, easily forgotten.
But it might have gone better had the bottle I had at Bennigan's not been served in their usual frosty glasses. How a place with over 20 beer taps care so little about beer stumps me. For the $5 they charged, I could have a fine imperial at any brewpub.

At the A-B Biergarten in St. Louis. Dark amber color. Thin white head. Surprisingly not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft @ the brewery, St Louis, MO. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak caramel aroma. Fruity sweetish malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity grainy malty caramel finish.

Sad there are still restaurants where this is the best beer option. Caramel malt and, uh....

I’ve sampled this more than enough times. I’ve had this more than enough times in pint glasses but also in pilseners and honeslty, there was barely any difference between the two. The appearance was always a nice looking hazy amber to red color with a semi-decent transparency letting some carbonation to be seen rising. The head was about a decent one finger white foaminess that quickly dissipated and left no lacing. The smell had a fairly decent amount of caramel malts that seemed fairly authentic. There was nothing burnt or overly cooked. It was good. The taste was sweet through the caramel malts. The palate sat at/about a nice light to medium and showed a fairly decent sessionable quality about it. Overall, I say this wasn’t a bad American Amber/Red Lager, its a fairly decent one worthy of having again.

My favorite beer. There are many semi-rich flavors to this beer but they’re pleasant and very balanced.

Tasted on 6/3/14 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Frugal MacDoogal. Pours clear dark amber with an average tan head that leaves a thick collar of lace. The nose is some lightly roasted nuts with a light touch of spicy, green hops. The flavor is the same with a very easy to drink lightly roasted nutty note and an almost creamy finish. The body is medium with lively, fizzy carbonation, and a medium lightly nutty finish.

Crappy even by crappy standards. Having said that I have put down some amber bock in my time.

I will drink this if at a ball game and there is no craft beer available. A decent amber color, this does have a decent roasty profile on the palate.

On tap at Budweiser Fort Collins. Appearance: 2 fingers light khaki head, amber red color, clear, good lacing. Aroma: caramel, light fruitiness, earthy yeast. Palate: medium body, average carbonation, thin texturte, light bitter finish. Taste: medium sweetnes, slight tartness and slight bitter finish. Overall, nothing special, but super drinkable; sort of suprisingly ok.
