3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty and cherry. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish vinous aftertaste. The good flavor contained notes of dark deep cherry and was vinous.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reddish-copper pour with a short-lived, off-white head. Sweet, syrupy, cherry aroma with hints of caramel, cinnamon, and diacetyl. Cloyingly sweet cherry cough syrup flavor with some more diacetyl. Medium-thin body with lots of carbonation. This comes in a gift set along with the 2007 Chocolate Lager and 2 very nice tulip glasses which are perfect for beer tasting.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
’07 Bottle: Pretty much what I expected...cherry tootsie pop flavor and aroma...actually more tasty than what I thought going in.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
2007 batch. I was surpised by the twist off cap. Pours a reddish amber color with a small, short lived, offwhite head. You can smell and taste the cherry in this one almost like a chocolate covered cherry. This was a lot better than I thought it would be and I got it for $3.50 at a local gas station and figured what the hell its another rating. The taste of this was too overbearing so I said to hell with it and poured the sonuvabitch out.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
24oz bottle from Liquor Depot (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy red brown color with a one finger white tan head that settles rapidly. Aroma is marachino cherries with maple syrup, honey and candy sugar notes. Flavor is like drinking cherry juice with light carbonation. Some notes of chocolate, honey, and dark sugars. Syrupy mouthfeel with a slightly tart finish. I agree with dwyerpg that this looks and tastes more like an ale than a lager.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Wow, this smells like Cherry Twizzler. This is strange. Has some cherry in the flavor as well; somehow seems more like an ale than a lager. Odd.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
2007. Reddish pour. Smelled like some weird cherry candy and tasted quite the same. The sweetness doesn’t seem to meld with the type of malts and few hops that are used. Odd beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured redish tan. Had the body of soda. Smelled like sweet cherry. Tasted like cherries, very little malt and no hops. I even mixed it with the choclate lager that came with it in the gift box to see if i could liven it up. Not really impressed.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Ugh! a gift from my mother in law. The 2007 edition was strangely sweet with little to no hopping. The bottles are ridiculous and after you get the plastic top off you get a nice twist off like you would get on a 1 liter Miller bottle.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
shared a bottle with a friend who received it as a gift from a brew master. aroma is nothing but sweet cherries, so much cherry it could be a car air freshener. taste follows suit, dark cherries, sugar, and caramel to finish. very sweet with a medium body. a decent fruit beer, bad ass torpedo bottle though.
