A twist on a traditional unfiltered Belgian-style Wheat Ale. Brewed with Citrus peels and spices, accented by spicy ginger notes.

It tastes like a bad witbier with only a hint of ginger at the end...it looks nice but that’s its only saving grace. Really bad

Pours a hazy yellow gold with a medium sized white head. Aroma is slight with notes of wheat, ginger and citrus. Mouthfeel is fairly creamy. Taste is unpronouced, slow in developing. Very light flavor of yeast, wheat, citrus and ginger. Overall, a little disappointing but still a quaffable brew. Pairs well with a cheese and fruit appetizer dish.

Strong ginger aroma. Somewhat soapy aroma as well. Nothing past the soapy ginger aroma. Cloudy wheat beer color. Head does not last long at all. Strong ginger flavor without much else going on. Some sweet malt flavor. Unpleasant ginger aftertaste. Not digging this at all. I all for playing with special ingredients, but this thing is not good at all. Yuck..

This ale is best left in the bottle, on the store shelf. If it must be consumed, I suggest pouring it into the toilet and letting the dog drink it. Seriously, ginger? Ginger belongs in Thai cuisine, not fufu, trendy mega-brewery ales. Why doesn’t August just express the anal glands of diverticulotic wombats and toss that into the fermentation vat? The end result would probably be just as palatable as this stuff...

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours a medium hazy orange with white head that dissapates quickly. Pretty good lacing and some carbonation. Taste is wheat, orange, and ginger. Ok beer, but I can see where you would either love it or hate it.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The label has a brief description of the beer along with its abv. (5.2%) There is no readable born on date just an odd number where it should be. (10049vc49) Appearance: It is pale orangey yellow in color with a cloudy haze. A few tiny bubbles can seen making there way up to the small creamy off white head. The head quickly settles down to a small ring of lace with a thin film island of foam in the middle. Lacing is slick and spotty. Smell: There is a subtle ginger ale like aroma with light wheat malt underneath. Taste: There are nice pleasant creamy ginger notes up front that pick up some wheat maltiness and notes of mandarin orange in the middle which gives it a very mild fruity ginger bread character. Hop flavor is barley noticeable. Only a very slight bitterness is preserved in the finish. The body is light and somewhat slick with soft carbonation. Notes: Overall this is a very drinkable beer with interesting and subtle character. I am on the fence with this one as it is tasty but it also reminded me of soda pop.

Bottle, thanks to Dean, pours yellow with white lager foam, aroma and flavor of bug spray and ginger , not a fan of this one

I had this beer on tap at Orange County Brew Ha Ha in Irvine, CA. I guess I’m in the minority on this one: I liked it. It’s a wheat beer with ginger flavors and nose. It is what it claims to be.

Some yeast, mild grain, light citrus, malt sweetness, sourness and spicy ginger joy. Light body with a long finish. A little disappointing.

The aroma is nice with plenty of ginger in the nose. The taste is actually a bit tart with some light fruity flavors. The flavors arent exactly great, but not bad either.
