Michelob Golden Draft Light

Bottle. Aromas of straw, corn and hand cream. Small, fizzy white head, with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Flavor is lightly acidic start to finish. Palate is light (what a surprise there), watery, and has a fizzy carbonation. Light on everything, not even enough flavor to be called refreshing. Very rarely would a Light beer be deemed hard to drink...this one was.

Watery just like anything else light but at least it’s dirt cheap and keeps the party going!

Can thanks (I think) to tytoanderso. Poured that good old pale urine yellow color with a bubbly white head that faded to nothing. Pretty offensive aroma of corn, DMS, metal, and stewed vegetables. Flavor is more or less the same with a heavy metallic flavor in the middle and a lightly dry finishes with an awkward lingering finish of something that I can’t even put my finger on. Fizzy carbonation and watery mouthfeel. I hope this stuff is really cheap, because it’s down there with the crappiest pale lagers around. Thanks Ty!!

Bottle. A friend brought me this beer back, as it is in only select markets. For a light beer and being mass produced by the AB giant, it wasn’t a bad beer. Pale yellow pour, a little white head that diminished rather quickly. Aroma is like any other pale lager. Malts, grains, and grass. Flavor is water, and very smooth. For a light, macro good to drink.

I played for a softball team sponsored by Mich Golden, after a doubleheader in the hot sun they tasted pretty good. In most other situations Mich Golden light was not great.

Draft at Anheuser Busch tasting room. Basically, this tastes exactly like air mixed with soda water. Shocking how water like it was, even had only the faintest whisper of yellow color. Doesn’t smell like anything either. Weird.

Tough economic times have forced me to steal this from my roommate. Honestly, not too terrible. Tastes like any other cheap macro lager. Theres a time and a place for this kind of beer, but a snowy night is not one of them. Perhaps my feelings about this beer will be better once it gets warmer outside. I dig the hexagonal bottle though.
