Okay, now you know that I'm kidding, but it is a phenomenon, and has a horde of ardent followers around these parts. Time to find out what they're enjoying and I'm missing...
"Smooth tasting premium draft", says the label, as well as "An exceptionally smooth taste in a premium draft beer. Cold filtered and brewed the Michelob way." I'll take your word for that!
Clear yellow color, thick, fizzy white head, settles with a swiftness.
Aroma: not unpleasant, rather sweet, but still a bunch of nothing.
Taste: some sweetness, but altogether watery, no finish, no texture, the faintest body, perhaps. Blandness in the highest rank, possessing an entire lack of flavor, ultimately designed for people who really don't actually enjoy beer, but feel compelled to ingest alcohol in some sense. There's nothing the smallest bit pleasurable about this, it's a wide open pit of null sets.
I'm sorry, it's just...I don't ...you don't...Ah, I get weary...how to explain the appeal of a great wad of nothing at all?
One redeeming quality? The can is "ribbed, for her pleasure Jayson2425 (167), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

I'm not much of a Michelob fan, but this stuff is OK. The beer has a way of going down easy. antisnobJP (275), St. Michael, Minnesota, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Feb 16, 2004 Only aroma I noticed immediately was slight sulphury aroma. Not enough malt or hops to mask the by-products of lager fermentation. Very pale yellow, fizzy, with tiny short lasting head. Mouthfeel of water, flavor of water with some beer thrown in. Can't detract points for having off flavors, as it really has no flavor. Seems kind of sweet. Could probably be swilled in mass quantities cold, but why? There are better and cheaper beers for doing that. At least it doesn't engage gag reflex like Miller Lite. jdog76 (85), madison, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 13, 2003 Canned. For a light beer, this isn't too bad. Watery, thin head, weak and carbonated. pkbites (328), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Dec 10, 2003 This is just an attempt to syphon off some of MGD Lights's customers. This stuff is better than MGD Light, but that doesn't mean it's really good. It's a watered down version of regular Mich. Golden Draft. Not totally bad, but not great either.Slightly (just SLIGHTLY!) better than the average light beer.
