1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
In a "fishbowl" at Rigazziís in St Louis. Pours clear golden with a white had. Typical unoffensive and easy to drink lager, certainly better than some of ABIís offerings.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Serving glass: Poured from can into Pint glass.
Appearance: Clear golden with a surprisingly sustained stark white bubbly head. That said, the strange neon cast to the color is distracting.
Aroma: Muted grainy malts with lots of corn. Slight hay and spice.
Taste: Very little, mostly sweet grains (corn) with a small hay-like balance. virtually no hops.
Palate: High carbonation, very light body. Too much like carbonated water.
Overall: Not worth it.

It was free on the brewery tour, so you get what you paid for. Just like the golden draft regular, but nothing special.

Date: July 31, 2011 Mode: Can Source: Church Fundraiser, Prescott, WI Bought this as a donation and to get the rating. Slightly better than the other garbage light beers but just a little more flavored water.

No real difference in this from regular Michelob Golden Draft, other than the alcohol content.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Sample draft at the St Louis brewery. Really not that bad. Of course nothing amazing but actually a touch of flavor compared to most lights. Average, which can be a compliment in this class.

Free on tap at a managers reception at a hotel minneapolis. Sorta like an AB Miller Lite answer. Real light colored, doesnít taste like much. Pretty inoffensive since there isnít much there. I donít see the point. I suppose with the Mick name it costs more but why?

Pour from the bottle, light yellow with big fizzy white head. Aroma is corn, some sugar, and thatís about it. Smooth drinking, inoffensive, but really not much taste or anything going on.

Bottled. Poured straw golden with a white head on top. The aroma picked up touches of sour grain and skunk, but for the most part it was crisp with honey and toasted pale grains. The flavor found cut honey at the core with just the faintest grassy hops around.. the flavor fell off the back of the palate quickly. Light-bodied and watery on the palate.. very smooth flow.. Iíll give props for that.
