Pours a little darker than most american lagers. Aromas of corn, hops, and you know the rest. Flavor is a little more pronounced in this lager, a little more bitter.

Not much to say... light oroma, light smell, light taste. Unless intended to drink numerous, not much of an impression. On a hot summer day, I would perfer it over water.

From the bottle. The body is a medium gold with very little head. Light and clean nose with carrots and corn. The taste is crisp with bell peppers and some woody dryness. There is also a very light hint of corn in the finish. Too much carbonation. Decent for swill.

This beer has its place for the heavy quantity drinkers, and for beer drinkers who don’t like flavor. Tastes a lot like carbonated water. Head disappears quickly with no lace whatsoever. I drank this in college but try to avoid nowadays. My wife drinks golden draft light so that is usually the beer that sits around the house. For its macro style, I would say this is better than some, although not as good as regular Michelob.

pours pale golden, typical macro-brew aroma with a llittle spice, i think this beer is just a premium budweiser, taste is ok, some sweetness, body is watery.

on tap. a very sweet macro lager, maybe the sweetest ive had, but nothing offensive. i cant figure out why this is a michelob brand though instead of bud or busch. this, of course begs the question, do you really need bud, bud light, and this on tap in the same place with bud, budlight, bud select, mich ultra. this, and also all the miller products in bottles. ok, sorry for getting off course but i dont think anyone is reading this anyway.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2006 I thought this was pretty good actually. HAd it at the AB brewery tour. I gues its only distributed in the great lakes area (WI, IL, MI, etc.) ... so those who rated from elsewhere either rated the wrong beer or had on travels. I was pleasently suprised by this beer though and actually liked it. I t was a good looking pale straw colored beer. Thought the taste was somewhat rich (keep in mind considering its a pale lager and a macro at that).

Not bad for it’s kind. There seems to be a touch of caramal. Some taste too!

I bought this for my non-beer geezer friends while I enjoyed a nice Fullers London Porter. They goaded me into tasting it because it is "the best beer ever." It tastes much like every other crappy American pale lager. A hint of bitterness and a a boatload of horrible pain
