2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours out a white golden color. Has a vanilla, honey and yeasty bread aroma. Flavor of strong yeast flavoring. Somewhat blah, not what I was expecting from a hefeweizen beer. Slight lemony ending. Overall disappointing, as to be expected from a mega brewer like AB.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2007 Really bad try - very sour and very little flavor. Looks nice but thats where the enjoyment ends. just because you can make a hefe does not mean that you should.

Somewhat cloudy orange with a huge and creamy eggshell white head. Aroma is heavy on coriander and wheat. Nice carbonation. Taste falls flat. Sour taste of cardboard. I wanted to like this, the aroma was good. Wheaty finish.

Pour is a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. The look of this brew is right on the mark with a hefe but thats about where compairisons end. Aroma was hard to detect and the flavor is a very grainy breadyness with no real aftertaste. Not even in the same ballpark with my Franziskaner.

This is one of my favorite of the Michelob family, but not saying much seeing how they are all pretty low on my list. Still it was very smooth drinking except from the fact that is not a good example of the taste you would expect from a hefe.

wanted it to taste like hefe, but knew it was anheuser busch, so didnt know what to expect. what i got: nice scent, but not strong. hints of citrus and banana, but were non existent in the flavor. poured cloudy yellow but everything that implied there would be any taste got covered up with wheat flavor.

For a rapidly produced commercial Hefe-Weizen, it was alright. I mean this is Anheuser Busch folks so do not expect much for this Hefe.
