COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Much like the longer days ahead, silky, smooth Michelob Honey Wheat brightens many a spirit. This filtered crystal weisse is brewed with wheat barley malts and orange blossom honey, creating a pronounced floral aroma with hints of citrus. Pour this golden ale in a tall, wide-mouthed glass and allow yourself a moment to stop and smell.

12 oz at lithyís March to 1000 tasting. Clear golden with a small lasting head. Aroma is honey and light grain. Taste is all honey with maybe some lemony hop on the finish. Light body is somehow dryish.

12 oz bottle. Smells of wheat and honey--to be expected. Not much head here. Faint honey flavor. Tastes mass-produced--to be expected.

bottle- FIRST DRINK- Not used to wheat ales being so clear, the bottle says itís a filtered wheat ale. Flavor is weak, altough i definitely taste honey, but it tastes like itís lacking something. LAST DRINK- Subtle creamyness as it warms, but not enough to save this bland brew.

Pours a complex golden color with a large white head that only last 5 minutes. Light malt aroma and a light corn tasted. Perfectly matched with its honeycomb, smacks, corn malt, corn syrup, garbage flavor. just hard to drink all around. thatís why i tastes these in shot glasses, cuz im smart.

This is from the Michelob wheat sampler pack...first one I tried out of them. I really regret that decision. To be fair Iíve never tried a honey beer before, but this was so disappointing. The appearance was a nice wheaty gold with a 3 inch white head that disappeared within a few minutes. By looks alone I was expecting something delicious. The aroma was decentóthin with a lot of "fake" honey. HOWEVER, the taste was terrible: lack of any wheat notes, far too sweet and thin with an artificial honey taste, no alcohol presence I could detect.I had trouble finishing this, it was that unenjoyable. It went down smooth, but almost gagged me with its syruppy texture. I really hope the others in the pack are considerably better. Although itís rough to admit, I would prefer a Rolling Rock or any typical macro brew over this. Maybe I just donít like honey beers overall, but I donít plan on trying this one again.

On tap at Chanhassen American Legion. Hazy gold color with white head. Sweet honey-wheat aroma. Taste is very sweet, lots of honey and floral flavors, somewhat dry wheaty finish. Tastes a lot like liquid Honey Nut Cherrios. This is pretty good, but got sickingly sweet after sharing a few pitchers w/ friends.

Light golden color with a smallish off-white head. Grain, wheat and hint of euro lager (hops?). Very sweet and rather chewy flavors. Wheat and light apricot. A really light syrup quality, and I use quality in a characteristic verses good way. For me this starts to get nearly sickeningly sweet and cloying. No refreshment in this wheat ale.

Average beer. I could see this bringing a major hangover on if I drank too many of them. For those that like fruit or sweet beers you will enjoy this. I have never been a sweet beer drinker so my opinion is biased. While I would not purchase this beer, it is not offensive. Michelob is actually doing a decent job these days.

Pours a light golden color with a small white froth. Aroma is exactly the name of the beer, tons of honey and tons of wheat. Not awful but pretty damn sweet and boring. A bit grainy as well that creates some astringency. Flavor starts with some sugary malts soaking in honey, man the honey just wonít quit. Gets a bit of a floral hoppiness in the finish with a bleck grain aftertaste. Light to medium body and a fizzy carbonation. Way too sweet and grainy
