Introduced in 1978 as the country's first super-premium light beer. Brewed with a high percentage of two-row barley malt and all imported hops to make this Anheuser-Busch's most flavorful light beer

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle. Clear pale yellow pour with a white head. Bland, tasteless, odorless (save a touch of skunkiness), and very thin. I expected no more from this.

6 pack from the local walmart for a cheap attempt to drown out a tough day on the railroad. I had only two but both were more enjoyable than the average light beer. Pale yellow, well balanced bitterness. Enough grassy hops to be noticeable. Typical water body. Perhaps the best of the light beers???

Roasted malts and barely. For a light lager this is good. Decent taste. Not terribly watered down ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale yellow with a half finger of white head. Aroma of corn, grains and light skunk. Taste is light bitter. Corn and grain with a little skunk. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, Iíve had worse. Seems to be your typical light beer.

Bottle to pint. Looks fine. Smells and tastes like Michelob, but with a little less flavor. Average on the palate. Not special, but a good light macro, and a great golf beer!

Tasted from bottle into pint glass. It poured an extremely pale color, barely yellow with some chill haze and a short-lived white head. Aromas of mushy marshmallowy high-fructose corn sugary candy, very faint noble hops. Tasted like artificial chemical sugar-substitute with perhaps some faint hops bitterness to balance, with a frustratingly sticky corn impression. Very light body, predictable crisp lager finish, unpleasant aftertaste. Several real flaws here, but not overwhelmingly offensive like other light lagers. Maybe a little less bad than Bud Light, which is apparently the only point of its existence.

Tastes like a regular non-light beer. Also has a calorie count like a regular non-light beer. Just "light" being on the label isnít helping anyone cut weight (or avoid adding more). I guess you could say itís a slightly "lighter" tasting version of regular Michelob. Was worth grabbing on sale for a good price (Cheaper than the macro lights). Wonít make it a regular at itís regular "super premium" price.

A: Pours a VERY light straw color with perfect clarity and strong carbonation rising to the head. White colored head with pathetic retention/lacing. S: There is a noble aspect to this beer...granted, itís pretty unrefined, but the fact that it exists in a light macro is stunning. Otherwise features the typical grainy note (in this case, rice, not corn) of most light macros. T: Not good, but expectedly not good. There is a slightly rough tone of rice adjuncts at first, and that slimy aftertaste I detest in most adjuncts, but otherwise, thereís almost no flavor at all. You could pound these, but why would you want to? Just pound water instead! M: Seltzer water-esque. O: Itís good for one thing: when for whatever reason, youíre pounding beers like a madman and donít want to seem as hoi polloi as the typically redneck Bud Light drinkers. Thatís it. People, I drink this stuff so you donít have to, so just get some real beer instead. Might I suggest some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale?

From a bottle pours clear golden with little head. Aroma of verylight toasted malt and no hint of hops flavor. Thin bodied and moderate carbonation with oily texture. Brief bitter. Fair on the scale of American macrobrew lagers.
