May be the best light beer in the world in my opinion or at least the best Iíve ever tried. Iíve been drinking this for years and never got around to rating it. Goes down like a light beer should and very refreshing with more substance & taste than other light beers. Excellent pizza beer or with salt & vinegar potato chips.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

1/23/16 Chicago (12 oz bottle poured into tall glass). Very pale clear yellow pour, mild carbonation and head with decent lacing. Faint malt and corn aroma and taste. Somewhat sweet taste, mild hops. Very smooth going down, thin texture with clean taste. I liked their prior offering from decades past much better.

Twelve ounce bottle from The Party Source, tasted on November 27, 2015. Yellow color, cheap pale lager aroma with a weird perfume-like smell I have encountered in a lot of cheap lagers, light adjunct /sour taste. I will never try Michelob Ultra but whatís depressing is that this crap and regular Michelob are probably better.

A very good lager, the hops are very much there but are not overly abundant.I like the maltiness too, perfecto.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottled, canned common, this particular beer rose to popularity in the late 70ís with the claim of it being a light beer.
Poured into a glass a light golden watery color with a large bubbly head that vanishes in under 15 seconds, smells lightly of hops in a ítea in the sun all dayí way. Taste is almost nonexistent with the subtle dash of a íbad teaí taste. Goes down light with a somewhat bitter finish. Maybe a subtle hint of lemon.
Although the rating I give is horrible, the truth is that this beer fits itís market. Itís marketed as a refreshing, light beer and you certainly get what you pay for.

Did someone switch the bud light n me, canít tell difference. Clear yellow real clear but weird light yellow. Why it gets decent appearance rating. Very carbonated like some water. No aroma no flavor.

It is what it is. Really nothing special. Only good after working your butt off in the blazing summer heat.

Golden colored water that resembles a watered down beer. This is a perfect beer for those who are scared of beer that has flavor. Not a good beer at all.

Michelob Light is a superior light beer. It achieves body, balance, and a discernible and pleasant hop note. It is also refreshing. More expensive than many competitors.
