3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
It produces a thin white head that has fades to small ring on top, which still makes some nice lace rings on the glass. The aroma is a pleasant mix of mild citrus hops and sweet malty grain. Its flavor is very similar to the aroma. There is a simple bready malt and light grain flavor with a well-balanced citrus hop flavor that also adds pleasant bitterness and very mild fruity/estery notes. It finishes fairly crisp and clean with a some light hop bitterness just hanging on. The texture light and easy drinking with a light to medium body and nice carbonation. Over all it displays a good balance of malt and hops with a very drinkable body and texture

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A somewhat dated 12 oz bottle from the back fo the refrigerator, but the review is tempered by memory from fresher bottles.
Look: surprisingly good, with a clear, deep amber body covered by a rather creamy looking, bone-colored head.
Aroma: earthy hops are stronger than the malt base
Flavor: again earthy hops over a sweet and light roast malt base but tainted with some metallic tones and hints of corn.
Feel: Medium body with a very good carbonation level.
O: given a fresh bottle, not bad; even roughly average.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle. Drank from the bottle at a family BBQ. Not much aroma, maybe some hint of caramel and citrus hops. Taste is really malty up front, some hint of caramel, finish was vegetal and vinous.
Edit: So looks like this beer is retired and Im not sure for how long, but looks as though someone must have cleared out their fridge of some old ass beer. Looks like it hasnt been brewed for about a year. It had a weird vinous taste but I chalked it up to it being a Michelob beer. Anyway not sure what this beer would have tasted like in its prime, but sure sucked aged!

March 2010. From bottle. This is more pale than it’s ale. Orange/amber color with a white head. Some citrus on the nose, but everything is just weak and watered down.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Tasted bottle from mix pack into standard pint glass. Clear, pale golden color with medium off-white foam. Aromas of faint, oxidized hops aroma, a hint of grain. Flavors were weak as well: just a bit of bread, caramelized brown sugar, hops bitterness. Fermentation wasn’t as clean as lager, but not as much fruit and body as you want from an ale either. The brewers make a point of distinguishing it as an English Pale Ale, as opposed to the more aggressive American Pale Ale style, but this is a weak and watered-down interpretation no matter what.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Michelob Pale Ale has a thick, creamy, off-white head with an orange tinge and a clear golden-orange appearance, with lots of bubbles streaming up. Lots of thick lacing is left behind. The aroma is mostly bready barley malt and a faint spice. Taste is initially malt, but then a fairly strong hop bitterness kicks in and lasts throughout the sip. Mouthfeel is light, and Michelob Pale Ale finishes refreshing and semi-dry. I hate to see that this one was discontinued, because I really enjoyed it. I must have gotten the last batch, because this tasted fresh.

Strong dry hopped flavor and aroma, not a lot else. Seems more like a APA, but needs a lot more to be that, as opposed to a EPA.
