2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
has an okay aroma of mild citrus hops, something was off in the taste. had a bitter alcohol taste to it that lingered in the aftertaste and made this beer not so enjoyable.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
More aroma than I expected with a little maltiness and bitterness. Amber color with nice initial head that dissipates to a rim. Mild flavor with a hint of hoppiness and sweetness in the finish and a barely detectable metallic quality. Fairly thin, smooth mouthfeel. Decent. Nice labeling

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 ounce bottle from a mixed 12 pack. Aroma is kinda of a musty, stale, swampy hop aroma. Lightly grassy and metallic. Transparent copper body with a decent, frothy off yellow head. Starts with a little grassy and herbal hop flavoring. Becomes a little cardboardy in the middle, before finishing with just a bit of herbal spicy hoppiness. A little thin, and somewhat unoffensive, if not pedestrian.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours golden amber with a modest white head and a light malt aroma. The caramel malt actually has some flavor and there is a modicum of hop bitterness. It’s a step up for Michelob, but doesn’ t hold up to the good microbrews.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz bottle. Pours clear dark golden with a small white froth. Aroma is very caramel and toffee with some graininess. Just a bit of piney hops but almost all sweet sugary malts. Flavor starts with a lot more caramel, super sweet. Picks up more light biterness, just a bit thoug without much of a defining character. Finishes a bit spicy bitter and lightly grainy. Medium bodyt and a sharp carbonation. Bland pale ale

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at my company holiday party. A little underrated on here possibly due to anti-macro bias. This doesn’t blow that hard! Pours a clear golden-amber color with a one-finger white head. Aroma is bready malts, caramel, and a little citrus fruit. Flavor is not bad at all. Bready pale and caramel malt, tropical fruit notes, and mild citrusy and floral hops. Really not hoppy at all for the style, but pleasant nonetheless. I would put this more into the amber ale category. Medium-light body with a pretty standard, unexciting mouthfeel. Pretty drinkable.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and has a bit of diacetyl, but no real hop presence. Taste is the same with a pervasive sourness that blends in with some mild hop character. Carbonation is fairly brisk $2/12oz

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle. Very little aroma here--faint aroma of pine, assembly line grains. Pours a light amber with a rocky head that dissipates fairly quick. Lacing is pretty good, surprisingly. Taste is of caramel, pine, and metal. Not enough carbonation--the same problem I tasted with the Rye P.A. This is an extremely boring pale ale, which is no surprise given the brewer. One final note: the label says English style, but it definitely has characteristics of American pale ales, too, which is not surprising given the Cascade hops it’s dry-hopped with.
